My term project aims to provide a broad overview of the research literature concerned with the impact of the new media on children and young people.it focuses primarily on the use of internet.Although there is some consideration of beneficial effect,my project concentrates on harmful effects.When it comes to negative effects,research has explored many different types of effects.For example,while some of these relate to specific areas of media content,others relate to media use in general;while some are short-term and direct,others are longer-term and/or indirect.
